Event Description

A candid, peer-to-peer roundtable for finance leaders across banking and credit unions on what's real — and what's still hype — in AI for the Office of the CFO. We'll explore how leading institutions are moving from pilot to payoff: accelerating the close, sharpening forecasts, and bringing real-time discipline to margin, liquidity, and capital — all without sacrificing the governance and explainability that regulated finance demands.

BWG Connect & OneStream invite you to join an interactive event with industry peers to review & discuss practical insights across the digital space.

As always, there will be no sales pitch and all attendees are welcome to listen and learn.

Discussion Topics

  • From pilot to payoff — closing the AI execution gap.
    • 87% of CFOs say AI will be extremely or very important to finance operations in 2026, rising to 88% in financial services — yet only about 15–25% have fully scaled it in their departments. We'll unpack what separates the FSI finance teams seeing real ROI from the ones still stuck in pilots. CFO.com Bain & Company
  • AI where it's actually earning its keep.
    • A grounded look at the finance workflows where AI is delivering today — accelerating the close, streamlining reconciliations, and sharpening forecasts — powered by capabilities like no-code ML forecasting, anomaly detection, and natural-language analysis that pulls data and answers questions in plain English. Plus an honest read on where the hype is still ahead of the reality.
  • From annual exercises to continuous planning.
    • Moving beyond static, spreadsheet-bound budgets and forecasts to continuous, multi-scenario planning that keeps pace as rates, markets, and the macro picture shift — so finance can model change as it unfolds instead of reacting a quarter late.
  • Trustworthy AI for regulated finance.
    • Escaping the "data and governance tax" that keeps finance tethered to legacy systems — and building the unified, governed, auditable, and explainable data foundation that auditors, regulators, and the board will actually accept.
  • Doing more with the same team.
    • With efficiency now a top strategic priority across financial services, finance leaders are using AI to protect margins, absorb rising workloads, and free their people from manual data work for higher-value analysis.
